About Pro Ground Services Ltd

Pro Ground Services Ltd is a commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping contractor based in Mansfield, serving businesses, public sector organisations, and property developers across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.

Founded in 2026, we have grown from a one-person operation to a team of five qualified grounds maintenance professionals, currently working with 50 active clients on annual and multi-year contracts. We deliver every service in-house — no subcontracting — so standards stay consistent and communication stays with the people doing the work.

Our clients include schools, care homes, local councils, property management companies, and new build housing developers. We hold SMAS SSIP health and safety accreditation, are RPII-registered for playground safety inspections, and carry employers' liability, employees' liability, and professional indemnity insurance with a good no claims record.

How We Work


  1. Enquiry — Contact us by phone or email. We respond to non-emergency enquiries and quote requests within three working days.
  1. Site survey — Owner Tim Bower visits your site for a 30–60 minute survey to assess the work and discuss your requirements.
  1. Proposal and price — You receive a written proposal and fixed price after the visit, with no obligation.
  1. Onboarding — Once you're ready to proceed, we set you up on our Workpal system for job scheduling, real-time updates, and direct communication with the team.
  1. Delivery — Work begins on the agreed schedule, with the same point of contact throughout the contract.

Common Questions

Do you require long contracts? Our grounds maintenance contracts run for one to three years, with no minimum contract value. We don't impose early termination penalties.

Are you insured and accredited? Yes. We hold SMAS SSIP accreditation, RPII membership, employers' and employees' liability insurance, and professional indemnity insurance. Documentation is available on request.

Are your staff DBS-checked? All staff working on school, council, or care home sites hold current DBS checks and CSCS cards, with NPTC PA1 and PA6 certification for pesticide work.

What areas do you cover? The East Midlands and South Yorkshire — see our Areas We Cover section above. We also take on one-off projects outside these areas up to a value of £500k.

How quickly will I get a quote? Non-emergency enquiries and quote requests are answered within three working days. Site surveys are typically booked within a week of contact.
